Boca Raton Police are investigating the homicide of Nicholas Acosta

Boca Raton, FL – On Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at approximately 7:20 pm, Boca Raton Police responded to a reported shooting at U-Park apartments at 135 NW 20th Street. Officers arrived within 3 minutes and found a male with at least two gunshot wounds to his torso. The 19 year old victim was transported to Delray Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

A witness stated that she was familiar with at least one of the suspects. Detectives are looking for at least five suspects who arrived and left the area around the time of the shooting in possibly two different vehicles.

Black male, 18-20 years old

Tall, thin

Blue t-shirt with a white owl on it

Gray sweatpants

Suspect 2:

Black male, 18-22 years old

Heavyset/tattoo on bicep/elbow

Gray hoodie/gray sweatpants

Suspect 3:

Black male, 18-20 years old

Hoodie/camouflage hat/black shoes

Suspect 4:

Black male, 18-20 years old

Wearing all black

Suspect 5:

Black male, 18-20 years old

Green hoodie & pants/high top sneakers
