Boynton Beach Police need the public’s assistance identifying an armed robber.

Do you recognize him? Just minutes after buying breakfast at McDonald’s yesterday, he robbed a 66-year-old man at knife-point at a nearby Marathon gas station on South Congress Avenue. The victim was pumping gas when the suspect came up and asked him for money. The victim gave him a dollar bill. The suspect then pulled out a knife and demanded the rest of the money in his wallet. He waved the knife at the victim a few times, which caused the man to lose his balance and fall to the ground. He quickly got back on his feet and told the suspect he would give him the money if he put the knife away. The suspect complied, and the victim gave him the rest of the cash in his wallet. The suspect took off running through the parking lot. The victim suffered injuries from the fall and was treated at Delray Medical Center.
