The Jupiter Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to identify an individual responsible for a robbery that occurred on January 8, 2016, at 6748 West Indiantown Road (Fairfield Inn). The subsequent investigation has revealed a male subject entered the business at 8:12 PM, and approached an employee demanding an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect implied he had an explosive device concealed in a navy blue backpack. The suspect was described as a white male, 5-08 to 5-09, medium build, possibly in his 30’s. He was last seen wearing a blue button down shirt, blue jeans and a black baseball cap with a large yellow logo. The suspect’s right eye, nose and partial chin area were covered in medical bandages and he had visible bruising/swelling on his face. It appears he may have possibly been involved in a physical altercation or accident earlier in the week.
