Boca Raton Police are investigating a robbery at Wells Fargo Bank

On Thursday, September 10 at just before 2:00 p.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to a robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank, 7531 North Federal Highway. Employees told detectives that a male entered the bank, presented a note to the teller and demanded money. The suspect showed the teller a small silver object, which he said was a grenade, but which may have been a small flashlight. The suspect handed the teller a white bag with a blue logo on it and told the teller to put the cash in it. The suspect left in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of money. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid to late 40’s, about 6′ tall, 220 pounds, and he was wearing a white shirt, blue pants, and a white fisherman-style hat.
